JVM problem with IE

Hi,

I have a machine installed with Rational Performance Tester (IBM tool). Also I have installed JRE 1.4 on my machine.

The problem is whenever I open a website in IE 6.0 with Win NT OS, the sun Java console doesnt get invoked. I did change the settings of Java Plug-in in Control Panel but still of no help.

Also i changed the settings of IE , in Tools->Internet Options->Advanced Tab ->Sun Java and checked the box , but still of no help.

The Java console does get invoke properly when I open any website in Mozila. I had also tried uninstalling IE and JRE and installing it back again but still with no help.

Can anybody please help.....

uninstall the MSJVM if it's there. otherwise, not sure. NT is ancient, unsupported, and you're likely one of the last people on earth using it.

When you install JVM , make sure you check the Internet Explorer check box. Also you can change the settings - go java control panel and use IE as the default for java console.
