How to be a good java programmer?
I am 22 year old. I have completed a three years course of Bachelor of science in Information Technology. I have a little bit knowlege in various subject in IT like programming in c\c++\core java\ VB6.0, RDBMS Sql, Mysql & little bit knowlege in Internet technology. But I am not stronge or master among any one of this technology.
The main problem i am facing these days is that, during my undergraduate i didn't pay much attention to programming and lost nearly my 3 valuable years. My other friend are working in various it firms in India like Infosis, Wipro, TCS. Now I am felt guilty & iferity complex about this.
Idesperately want be a java programmer. A real good programmer. Can you give me some tips how to do it? With learning java programming, What other technology should i learn? I am not much iterested in web technology. What other technology should i learn with java programming which will help me to get job as java programmer.
I am also want to be Sun Certified programmer. Is this certificate help me to get job as programmer?
Is it too let for me? Please guide me and kindly show me the career path to become a good java programmer. I am sincerly waiting for your reply.
