Java 6 (Mustang) GA Release

Does anyone know when the Java 6 GA release is scheduled, if at all? I looked at the JSR but it appears they haven't gotten there yet. We have a 1.3 application, which I would really like to rewrite. I read that 1.3 will be EOL upon this release of Java 6.
According to https://jdk6.dev.java.net/ under the news section:"Beta 2 is out! and we are heading towards final release in late October. See beta2 notes from Danny and Mark. [June 15, 2006]"But as we all know, deadlines are made so that they can be missed.
