OpenSMPP Vs SMPPapi Which one to choose

Hello all,

I am developing a SMPP client that would connect to

a SMSC simulator to test the connection and eventually

connect to a SMPP server (SMSC).

My colleague referred me to

http://sourceforge.net/projects/smstools/

while the one I was previously referring to was

http://smppapi.sourceforge.net/

Both are from sourceforge and both claim to be

Java SMPP API

Are there any serious tradeoffs between the two.

How do I decide which API to go ahead with...
