dynamic value through xml

right now i'am using ajax .iam using jdbc in jsp which is used to retrieve the value in database dynamically.this value should be passed to the xml how can i pass dynamic value to xml and at the same time,i should retrieve those values to the javascript function where should i place this xml file when using jsp give me brief discription about how the code in xml file look like.and my webserver is tomcat.if anybody having the knowledge of using ajax and jsp together then please disclose it to me
