Dear Jijo, BDK is obsolete and is no more available in sun site. There is beanbuilder at present but I haven't checked yet whether it works. You may download it. This is sure that the installation instructions for beanbuilder are not applicable for the present downloadable package. Further the documentations for java beans has not been updated for ages. May be netBeans ide is a solution. Just like you I am also trying to learn JavaBeans on my own. If I can make any progress I shall let u know. u also do the same please. I have downloaded some docs which I can forward u, if u want. My email id is brainfever07@gmail.com. Stay in touch if u like. Thanks, Paul

BDK is not supported now. Try the Bean Builder: https://bean-builder.dev.java.net/There are some useful links at: http://www.ecst.csuchico.edu/~amk/foo/advjava/notes/Download BDK 1.1 directly from: http://www.ecst.csuchico.edu/~amk/foo/advjava/notes/beans/BDK
