How to optimize the image?

Hi every body,

This is vijay. Any one of you please let me know the following problem.

How can I change(Decrease or increase) image size.

For example, If the image size is 100 kb, If I will select option1,that image size will be 60 kb and that one to be displayed in my JSP. If I will select another option, it would be 100kb and will shown again in my jsp page.

Please help me to solve this problem.
