Hi I Need Help With Networking in java

my problem is that i wanted to make a peer 2 peer chat client and a client\server chat client.. is there sum1 who can help me on this one pls? even console chatting would do i can try to upgrade it to GUI myself but it would be alot more help if it would be on GUI... just nid source codes for me to study.. thanks!!
