Switching from MS XP Pro to SUN or Java

Hello all,

I' new to this, and perhaps I'm not in the right place here but I' m sure that one of you can give, or tell me where I can get the best advice on switching from XP Pro to SUN or Java systems. My set up is a home/ office PC with multiple hard drives.

I am thinking of utilising a spare drive for evealuation.

Do any of you experts have advice on my best approach?

I am not hihly technical in the computer field, so please keep it simple.

Best wishes

I don't know what you are asking about. Do you want to install Linux and Java?
