That doesn't really say much. You need to be more specific.
> that simple i try to read the tutorials but not luck

No, it doesn't work that way. You need to try to do it yourself, and then post your attempt and specific questions about what's giving you trouble.

happymustang what's wrong with you? You keep posting messages like "Is it homework? Do it yourself!" in other people's threads, and you run around harassing forum regulars who have 10.000+ posts to e-mail you. Why don't you get lost?
Hi, Prometheuzz, I only replied 2 "homework, do it yourself" (when they clearly look like Homework question without any self-effort). Meanwhile,I have answered about 10 questions in a helpful way.
I am studying how people help other people in online forum, I want to get some insight from seninor members of this forum but there is no way to reach them.. I apologize if I offend anyone.

I disagree. In this thread http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=740006 the OP posted his/her own code using code-tags, explained what he/she wanted to do in a (more or less) and yet you posted a blunt: "do it yourself". It is not like he/she posted their assignment.

Well it all depends what one calls helpfull. If you mean that your reply in this thread http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=740045 was helpfull, then I disagree once more.

Some regulars have their e-mail address visible (click on their account), if not, they probably don't want others to contact them (hint).
I apologize if I offend anyone.
Maybe those students you told to do it themselves or the regulars you stalked, but not me.
first one:
Many Java homeworks will give student most of the code and ask them to finish rest. I think this one is clearly the case since the asker did not show any effort he had put in writing that code. And if he can write that code, I don't believe he can not solve the problem he asked himself.
For 2nd one.
I suggested the asker to change the question and ask it more clearly. I also don't think he knows the Java very well. His question should be a Java concept related question instead of JFree graph lib question.. And because the way he asked, he did not get any replies after 6 hours (that's why I suggested him to change the question).. Maybe I should suggest in a nicer way?
Furthermore, why do you only look at that one question and ignore others? :)
Those who don't want to anywork themselves deserved to be offened. I am delight to know that I did not offend you since you are also a regular helper here.

I'm pretty sure that the code posted in that thread was NOT supplied by the teacher/professor of the class; it looks far too messy.

It has nothing to do with nice or rude. I just didn't understand what you were talking about.

Believe me, a lot of your other answers (not all!) are like that.

You shouldn't be worried to only offend regulars, IMO.
1). Not all teachers are good or relative good programmers... And the requirement of that program is a very very typiclal homework problem.
2). I am sorry... either my eng is very bad (I admit) or your reading is not good as well (I don't know).
3). You pointed one clearly in one answer and I appreciate your help on that. Please point out others if there are more.
4). regulars in my meaning = any general users (askers or helpers).. I only don't care those who don't want to do any work themselves and want to eat free lunch.

That doesn't automatically mean the OP posted code that wasn't written by themselves.

Maybe a bit of both. But I find other people's answers here easier to understand than yours.

Will do.

Errr, ok?

No I will not feel like being spammed, otherwise I wouldn't have left my e-mail address public.
But up untill now I didn't receive any e-mail from you.

I normally grab them by their neck and threaten them to break it if they
move. That makes them stand still. Then I start beating them on the
head until they become to like it; that's the moment when I stop beating.
The next step involves the breaking of their fingers; one by one until
they've solved the problem on their own. This is the real educational
part of it all. It only takes seven or eight ruined fingers a black eye or two,
and some creative deformation of their knee caps before they've
actually managed to solve the stuff themselves.
A lovely learning experience it is.
