Installing JDK 1.5 on Solaris on my user home

Hi,The installation walks through installing as root using pkgadd -d command etc. What if I want to install JDK 1.5 on my local home account. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance,Mustafa

Yes, there is a way to do that, but you'll need to download self-extracting file distribution instead of package distribution. You can find corresponding installation instructions here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/install-solaris.html#self-extracting
