JRE license question

I hope this is the right place to ask this. If not I apologize.

I am working on a project to produce a piece of hardware and it will be running embedded Linux. I would like to use Java SE (1.5) to write the control software. Am I allowed to redistribute the JRE pre-installed as an integral part of the over all device? The end user will be limited to the UI that my program provides and will not have access to the OS or anything installed on it (for example, the JRE).

If this is not allowed under the normal license, is it possible to negotiate a license that would allow this? If so, how? I thought that at one time I had found a contact to call for Licensing info, but I can no longer find it.
