Trying to uninstall Java Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2

How do I get rid of the Java Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2?

I am trying to use the Add/Remove program tool in Windows XP to uninstall Java Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2 but it says that it cannot find the original installation file Java Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2.msi...

Why do I need that just to uninstall...?

Hi,it means that you have deleted the source of instalation. You have find the file that you install and the path to this file write to the dialog that opens when you try to uninstall the runtime environmentL.P.
