Netbeans 5 beta CVS (totaly radiculouse)
its a shame that its release 5 and netbeans development team still can not get CVS straight, what I saw in there was not less than very badly designed, strange, uncommon CVS inegration, I would say it is even worth than in was in 4.1, why can't anyone get it right?
e.g Eclipse, IDEA .. etc ....
where is pka authorization section? or is it has to be burried somewhere totaly unrelated section? why such a great IDE has to be shadowed with such a poor cvs integration? and who cares abotu color coding feature if they can not even get to conenct to CVS properly?
and netbeans Features list says " Completly reworked CVS " hmm . funny.
and CVS documentatios is totaly radiculouse it says nothing informative things like : "type password in a password field --> well .....
if I am wrong, someone point me anywhere that it says how to connect to cvs server with pka ?
where do I tell IDE to use my private key rof authorization? what about exssh support?
Best Regards

Since it's still in beta., why don't you do something constructive and post some RFE's and/or bugs with NetBeans, instead of ranting here, in a totally unrelated forum?
why dont you first ask , there is no netbeans dedicated forum
and I would advice you to watch your language, I do not rant I honetsly express my opinion and concern , if you do not like to read it you are welcome to ,
2) there was a post related to where to post questions about netbeans and there was a clear answer : here , so read this
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=675694&messageID=3945805
re-think what you typed and then answer if you will
Best Regards
> why dont you first ask , there is no netbeans dedicated forum That's not what Chuck suggested, and you are ranting. I strongly recommend you read the following: On Not Reacting Like A Loser.
why do not you read my post till the end?
if its not clear anough I say there at the end :
>if I am wrong, someone point me anywhere that it says how to connect >to cvs server with pka ?
>where do I tell IDE to use my private key rof authorization? what about >exssh support?
so, please lsiten carefully ! I did not relly open this thread to listend to chuck and his "want to be sarcasticibuddiies supporting hes angerfull replies, I open this thread because I really want to navigate away from Eclipse IDE in favor of Netbeans which I state in my post clearly, and
if you want to call someone a looser be a man and do so, that old trick of your pointing a threads is way too overuser these days....
so for everyone that does not want to clearly think before answering I ask again :
in Netbeans 5 beta IDE,someone point me anywhere that it says how to connect >to cvs server with pka ?
>where do I tell IDE to use my private key for authorization?
> if you want to call someone a looser be a man...
For someone who keeps admonishing others to read, you don't seem to be too willing to read anything yourself. If you'd bother to actually read what I linked, you might not continue to look like such a irritable jerk. There was nothing "angerful" about ChuckBing's post. There was nothing sarcastic about mine.
GFY, numbnuts.
When you're not too busy whining about life, have a look at the following; it may have what you're looking for: http://www.netbeans.org/kb/articles/cvs-ssh.html
thats already much better, I am glad that you realized that you were not realy right
, and by the way instead of waisting time trying to make yourselt a winner here, why don you give me a link that will answer my question if you know it ,( I am not looking for links like netbeans.org etc ...)and if you dont know?why are you replying after all?
I did not ask a mediator to control my posts I asked for help on Netbeans CVS ?
BTW , compared to "others" .I have no time or interest to read that link about how (not to be Jerk) that you sent ,
sorry about that .
Best Regards
thanks for the link, but unfortunatly, first of all I read that link way back when I looked at netbeans 4.1 .and that tutorial is actualy is based on netbeans 3.3thanks anyways.Best Regards
> I am glad that you realized that you were not realy right
I am right, so you're just going to have to be not-glad, I guess.
> I have no time or interest to read that link about how (not to be Jerk)
> that you sent ,
You'll be lucky if anyone has the time or interest to bother answering any of your questions, given your "charming attitude".
Good luck.
> thanks for the link, but unfortunatly, first of all I
> read that link way back when I looked at netbeans 4.1
Well, maybe if you flap your arms and stomp your feet some more, a NetBeans expert will pop in this thread to hold your hand through the process.
> Best Regards
And to you, my grouchy little friend.
is it about time and attitude to not to answer my questionor simply because its not possible to do it in current CVS implementation of Netbeans? thats a question,
Do not take things personaly yawmark, you are what you are I am sure you have positive, and smart sides too ...
so I was replying to someone totaly dumb and stupid. and that makes me feel better. I will come back next week and see if there is any replies or maybe, out of magic, netbeans RC will have that in . I hope...
that is the only thing holding an eclipse directory still existing.in my PC
very truly
Why don't you post your concerns about CVS in Netbeans 5 beta to 'nbuser' like I have done?
Yes, there is a problem with CVS in Netbeans 5 beta BUT I do not have a problem with CVS in Netbeans 4.1. Netbeans 5 is still in 'beta' and has many problems which I hope will be sorted out before release so rather than just ranting here in this unrelated forum go join 'nbuser'.
http://forum.java.sun.com/index.jspa <=== This is a Java forum http://www.netbeans.org/community/lists/ <=== This is a NetBeans mailing listAnd IMO you ranted.Enjoy yourself.
