how to stream a file while downloading?

hi friends!

my requirement is to stream a audio file while downloading,

that is if you click on the file(download file) instead of downloading a

file it should in a position to play the song using a default player,

i want to acheve a player independency.

i will explain it clearly,

see if i download a audio file,in my system i may not have a player,

that will play the downloaded song.I want to make that song to be

played in a default player.

that is my requirement,

Leave Audio file in this matter. Any file which is identified as a recognizzed file in windows can be played by the system.

To see what all files are associated to the respective players / software / executables, Open Windows Explorer (not IE), Hit Tools -> Folder Options, click the View Tab.

Solution to your problem:

1. When you click on the download link, open the link in a new Browser window.

2. Have the links extension as a programs file name like .wav, .mpeg, etc. This will force the client browser window to open in the respective software.
