IP datacast /DVB-T
Hello, I got a general question about DVB:
Can someone tell me the relationship between IP Datacast and DVB-T?
Is it possible to transform one to the other?
I tried to look for information in google but i did not find so much technical details about IPDC packet format....
thanks a lot

I don't understand exactly what answers you are looking for, but you can easily do IP Datacasting over DVB-T.
What you need is an IP-Encapsulator that transforms your IP Stream to an MPEG2 ASI stream. Then you can just add that ASI stream to your multiplexer and off you go.
You will need a DVB-T PC card that is capable of receiving an IP datacast, but I think most cards today are capable of doing this. (Depending of your application of course)
We've done a bit of WMV streaming and filecasting in our lab this way. Works fine....

hello
thanks a lot for your answer
what i try to do is to extract my DVB-T signal out of a datacast.
Someone told me that we just need to filter some bytes in the datacast to get the encapsulated DVB-T signal.
There are very few documentation about IPDC packets.,...
any info would be very welcome
thanks a lot
