Java SDK License - FreeBSD

I have a question concerning the JAVA SDK license

On http://www.bsdmall.com/freebsd49.html they were selling a distribution with following components.

Java 1.3.1, JBoss, Jakarta, Tomcat, NetBeans, Apache-Ant ...

I always thought, that it is not allowed to make Java SDK Binary distributionens, and that everyone who want to use ist has first to register

.

As generally known you can compile the SDK on FreeBSD by yourself, but this job can continues a long time and can be very frustrating for many people.

My question : Is it allowed to make a binary distribution of Java SDK for FreeBSD and to give it to others, e.g on CD or per download?.

Regards

Ingo

You will need to address this to Sun, not the users of this forum. Click the link "Licensing" at the bottom of this page.

Simply check your license agreement, and in particular the additional license terms for development tools, section B
