Java card Applet and sim toolkit applet

hi to all,

what is difference between this two?

When i write java card applet and load on sim card the sim is not

detected on GSM mobile.why is it so?

is to necessary to write sim toolkit applet to access it through

GSM phone?

i think, sim access Applet through sim.toolkit and sim.access packages

in GSM phone.Is is So?

plz solve my query.

Any suggestions.

for programming in sim card, you must use necessarily sim toolkit applet.

I thing that the difference between Javacard applet and Simtoolkit applet is that:

- sim toolkit applet is only for sim card

- java card applet is for another smart card

of course, both have some joint things.
