HotSpot Exception Access Violation when printing from browser

We are a bank and use a browser based application for our core banking processes. I recently installed a new printer (Canon Imagerunner) and now when my users have their browser session open and print, we get the following error:

An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine:

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x0927b3af, pid=3544, tid=252

Java VM: Jaava HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_02-b09 mixed mode, sharing)

Problematic frame:

C [CPC10S.DLL+0xb3af]

Of course this error blows them out of their application. How can I fix this?

Thanks for your help . . .

Paula
