mobile kit on amd 64

I am trying to set up my environment on my amd64 machine. I use netbeans and java amd64 development kit. I am running a linux os. I can run everthing fine until it comes to the mobile development kit. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the kit running on my system.Leon

OK I have looked around and have found out that what you suggest sounds good. Would it be possible to still run the development kit from inside netbeans or not. Could you also point me to a good place to do some reading on how to do this.

I have looked and think I need to discover all dependencies and then copy these into a folder that becomes the jail. It seems to me that netbeans may then have a problem communicating with it and it needs to be run as root.
