when can I get the information about J2EE history

Because I need write a slide about J2EE overview, I want to know the developing history about J2ee for example when did first J2EE version emerge? who submit the idea of J2EE, when did J2EE 1.0 publish?Thanks
I beleive J2EE 1.0 was released in December of 1999. Maybe some other folks can fill in some more details but this seems like a problem that google can help you solve.
