Does anyone know the disk drive height limitation of Sun Ultra model 140E? What are the disk drive interfaces supported by it? I'm having a hard time looking for documents indicating Sun Ultra 1 model 140E's specifications and limitations.

This probably sounds tough, but learn how to read documentation and search the net.
The Ultra 1 page lists only 1" height disks.

at least one of the drive bays can take a half-height (1.6") drive... it has been sooo long since I have dealt with these little beasties... I wouldn't put too big a drive in due to heat restraints...

I tried to insert an empty Spud Bracket (1.6" 540-3025) into the drive bays of an Ultra 1. It didn't fit (too tall), neither in the lower nor the upper bay.
The Ultra 30 can take these 1.6" height disk drives.
