I have an ultra 10 with the following specs:
type:SUNW,ULTRA-5_10;sparc;sun4u
I would like to add more RAM to the system. Is there any documentation out there that details the various steps needed?

Various steps? first, the U5 has the same motherboard as the U10, the U5 has a smaller power supply... second, check this link...

you can put up to a gig of memory in your U5, but you will most likely need to remove the floppy drive... there are some low profile 256 meg memory chips if you really need the floppy...
the easiest way to find memory is EBay... unless you have another way of scoring used Sun stuff...
