need help about wiki

Hello friends.

I have been given a task to implement a wiki in an intranet.

I would like to know that is there any free wikis available to plug into my intranet?

Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Thanx in advance.

There are tons of wiki engines available. MediaWiki - the one behind Wikipedia - is nice and simple to get set up. So is moinmoin, which I believe can come as part of the xampp tool. Others are available. Wikipedia's "wiki" entry has a good comparison table of the popular ones

What does this have to do with Java, though?

Xwiki.com is very easy to set up. It has a windows installation that installs everything for you. try it out!

JSPWIKI is easy to install.

Since it's based on JSP, it is very easy to customize.
