I am using Jakarta-Tomcat-3.2.4. The server was working fine but then today when i tried to open the startup.bat file , it is'nt working. The window opens for a second and then disappears ? What can be the cause and how to solve this ?

did you look into your log files. you should have a "logs" folder in apache subfolder.
Another standard step: run startup.bat from a command prompt rather than double clicking it in windows.
That way the window won't disappear, and you can read any error messages.
This is the error i get when i tried to run startup.bat from command prompt.
Including all jars in ..\lib in your CLASSPATH.
Files\Java\jre1.5.0_03\lib\ext\QTJava.zip"" was unexpected at this time.
What can be the reason ? and the solution ?
