Hi experts here, from time ago I asked in this forum about the best book to study Java ( as a new in the Java world). Nowadays I almost finished the ( Java programming language book. I would like to take an advice which is: which book do you recommend to prepare for the SCJP certificate.
Note: some told me about the SYBEX
If by Sybex you mean the Java 2 Certification guide then that it was i used - it covers everything in the exam!
Also check online as there are many mock exams you can test yourself against. I did quite a few of these as it helped give me an idea of the structure of the questions.

er, i did mine 3 years ago :) there are lots , just search for "scjp mock exams" on google. I know javaranch had a few. And www.danchisholm.net had some hard questions (seemd hard at the time!) that got me worried, so I studied harder and then found the exam a lot easier than expected :)
