What is better, a book or a sofware
Hi again, This is a great forum, so my question is.
If you're preparing for the SCJP exam, and your exam will
be the next week, what do you prefer?
1.- a good book to read
2.- a software on web so you can understand some details that maybe in books you can't find
3.- some questions with explanation and the end of each one.
I'd prefer # 2, because you can learn quickly at the last minute.
And you?

Heavy prayer.

Oh, so you're not planning on actually earning the cert then.

Earning, cramming, what's your point?
In other forum somebody says a book, and somebody says a mock exam and several questions and that's OK, but imagine this scenario. Wouldn't you like a software that makes all for you?, I mean, in the last minute you could take an IDE like netbeans or eclipse and to make compile some programs in those topics where you need more help like Generics, Concurrency or GC.
On the other hand you could use a software (on web) to make some exercises in real time telling you some tips. (The software made in AjAX of course). You wouldn't use the compiler...
Come on, think about it..

What, you're looking for validation, too? Okay, fine. Sounds like a great idea. Go for it. Properly marketed, you could make a squillion dollars off of it. Best of luck.

I didn't say anything about that.

That's exactly what I meant. You've already made up your mind, and now you're looking for validation. Well, you got it. It sounds like the best idea since sliced bread. Go for it.
> If everything's right soon you'll be using it
I have no need or want for such a thing, but good luck with that.
