Which is hardest topic in SCJP?
Hi everybody, I've spent several hours studying for the SCJP exam, and I'm wondering which is the hardest topic in this exam? (Threads, Inheritance, etc...). What do you think?

it's different for each person
some people can memorize stuff easily yet find certain concepts difficult and and then some people are the opposite of that
Maybe you're right, but the truth is that you can't compare topics like Generics to casting, Generics in depth is really hard. And also, some people can't pass the exam just because he or she can learn some topics by heart or no?

So, you're:
a) Studying for the SCJP; AND
b) Doing a thesis on test preparation software?
I think you're being somewhat less than truthful.
> the truth is that you can't compare topics like Generics to casting
So don't ask the question if you already know it won't be answered to your satisfaction. Once again, you've got your mind made up and you're just looking for validation or debate. There's nothing wrong with a little healthy debate, but I find your attempt to present your topics as sincere questions to be a bit shady.

Maybe you're right. But trust me, I've been preparing for this exam for at least 4 months ago, and I've read 2 books. and I hope to present the exam in the next month (more or less), but now I would like to find some information about. how may people present this exam?, How many people pass it?. for my thesis. you know.
So, I do this for finding out some information.
> Maybe you're right.
I'm pretty sure I am.
> But trust me...
I don't, but that's not really important.
> for my thesis. you know.
Whatever. Here's more validation and affirmation for you:
You'll be fine. The test isn't that bad if you've been studying and practicing. Go take it, and if for some god-awful reason you don't pass the first time, you can always take the test again.
Good luck (sincerely). And lay off the "for my thesis" shenanigans (sincerely, too).

Not really great advice if you ask me. I'd suggest to the OP that you get a mock exam online and try it and see how you do. If you score high then I wouldn't worry. However, I recall when I took the test it was much harder than the mock exams, so make sure you get a good one or score really high. All that aside, 4 months of studying is adequate and you are probably ready. Then again, I know people that have been coding Java for 10 years and cannot pass it.

Seeing as how that's the same advice I gave, I don't know why you would give "not really great advice" yourself. Perhaps we misunderstand each other.
