Server with no graphics card

Hello,

I have a t2000 server with no graphics card. I've been tasked to install Oracle software on this box. What is the best solution in terms of being able to run Oracle gui interface knowing there is no graphics card? Would I have to use something like hummingbird or other similar free-ware products?

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Yes, Use some X client/server to connect to it remotely. Hummingbird would do it for you with no issues. If not you will have to export the display to your node which you are connecting from.

Here is the T2000's resource page in the Sun System Handbook.

http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/SunFireT2000_R/SunFireT2000_R.h tml

There is a link to T2000-specific documentation on that page.

Perhaps the documentation can give you suggestions on how to install, use, and administer it.
