I need to know how to turn the controls on for password creation on Unix servers.
Particularly, we need to force users to use proper guidelines when reseting and making new password. This is to stop the often seen error easily guessed password in reports.
you find the config-file in /etc/default/password.
but sol 5.9 and earlier support only minimum password length and expiration in weeks. to force your users, to use _secure_ passwords, replacing "password" by "npassword" would be the best way
