Patches for Solaris Express, Developer Edition

Are there patches for sxde somewhere around? Or do I just have to install the solaris 10 patches? the update manager doesn't work on my system, though every other java application which connects to the internet works, so I have to install them manually.

Others may correct me here, but my perception was always that ...

Solaris Express is the work-in-progress version of the next iteration of the OS.

(I consider it the beta of what will eventually become Solaris.)

Thus it never gets patched, it gets replaced by the subsequent release of Express.

.

I also consider OpenSolaris to be the alpha that could evolve into Solaris Express.

Correct.

OpenSolaris is the open-source code base.

Solaris (and Solaris Express) is a specific distribution that uses not only OpenSolaris, but also some closed-source components.

Solaris Express is a snapshot of the current work on 'nevada', the next version of Solaris.
