Sun Cluster 3.1 is working on 2 nodes, I want to add one more node to this. Can anybody give installation procedure and explain to me how heartbeat will work for more than 2 node cluster.

If you have used a back-to-back cabling you'll have to change that to a switch based star topology. Interconnect addresses are selected automatically during the installation.
You better have 2 switches for redundancy. Hearbeat is sent between any 2 nodes to detect a node outage as fast as possible.
