solaris 10 118855-36 kernal patch

i just got my ultra 40 m2 workstation and have got my int working and downloaded and installed my jre and libraries for it that i need.

but the problem i have run into is with the updates.

i am using the update manager to download and install all the updates for solaris.

there were 122 at first and after downloading and install i notice that i have several dozen that will not install all because they are dependent on this one 118855-36 kernal patch.

when i try to install it it says downloaded so i am assuming that it needs to be manually installed.

can anyone point me to docs on how to get this update done?
