Recovering from interrupted patch

I have a slight problem which stems from our patch bundle taking a long time per patch at some points (thus tripping the timeout on our console terminal server) and the resulting lack of feedback.

Thinking the patch process had hung, I halted and rebooted the server so as not to run over my maintenance window. Yes, that was stupid of me to do, but that is water over the dam.

As it turns out, the patch it was trying to apply when halted is in a half-applied state. Is there any way of recovering short of a full re-install of Solaris?

Umm, you could try and add the patch/patches/patchcluster again from a single-user state..

Even though if this was on an x86 platform and the patch being added was the one which replace the Sun Secondary boot with Grub its probably easier to reinstall.
