ESMTP Sendmail port 25

this command:#telnet 192.168.1.1 25responds: ESMTP Sendmail 8.x.x.x.x.x OK!but.. from a terminal there is no answer.What can I do?Thanks.RegardsMessage was edited by: chupito

I'm not sure I understand - you're at an interactive shell, and you telnet 192.168.1.1 25 - and it connectsisn't that being at a terminal? - or are you saying remotely, you can't connect to the machine at port 25? - jeff

This is the problem.

Actually, I have a server Solaris 9 sparc. With sendmail, pop3 and imap.

From a terminal (windows) I read my mail (using outlook express) so I need port 110 and port 25 (smpt), everything is OK!.

But with Solaris 10 installed, port 25 doesn磘 work, from that windows computer.

I hope you can help me
