How to find a solaris command executed successfully ,how to get the logs?

Hi,

I am new to solaris. How to find that a solaris command is executed successfully? If we use history command , it will show the command history only.

How can I know that one command is executed successfully and where can I find the logs for it?

If any one knows , help me.

Thanks and regards,

Susdora

try scheduling it in cron and then look at the cron logfile(typically /var/cron/log)I'm not sure how granular process accounting can be made to be, but it is a possibility - man 1m acct Just curious, what is the reason behind all of this? - thanks - jeff
