SSGD 4.31 & XP Application Server

As a preface, I will admit that I am a bit of a fish out of water when it comes to this, so I may be a bit slow.

Anyway, I am trying to find out if it is possible to use Windows XP boxes as application servers behind SSGD. I have looked high and low and so far I have come up with some mixed results, some implying that if you slap Terminal Services on there you can do it, and others saying that XP is a desktop OS, it's impossible.

So my questions are:

1. Can this be done?

2. If so, with what limitations?

3. What else do I need to be able to do this?

It would be amazing if anyone could answer these questions.

1. SGD can be used to deploy XP Professional

2. Full screen desktop only (or one application session) - limitation on the RDP on XP Pro

3. Just install the SGD enhancement module on the XP Pro

Okay. Just to make sure I'm completely following, if I have users A & B, it is impossible for them both to be able to concurrently use Application Y on the XP-box, yes?

Yes - but that is not a limitation of SGD but rather a limitation of Windows XP that allows only one remote desktop session at one time.
