speed seem to change after wake up

I use solaris DE 5/07 in my Thinkpad 43. Everything had gone well untill the machine went to sleep. When it was woke up I found the system work a bit slow. For example, the time for a normal window changing to a minimal form or opening a new site is longer. I don't kown why. Can anyone give some hints? Thx!
