new to open sparc t1

hi all,

i am new to open sparc and have been spending time with it but not getting much done. i am basically trying to run the regressions in the suite.

i have a few questions to ask but let me 1st tell u what i have done

1- extracted the tar file

2-updated the .cshrc file according to our network here

3-updated the pli for vcs (dnt know why but cldnt do it for ncv)

4- ran the sims-sys=cmp -vcs_build command

i keep getting an err could not find cmp in sims.config

then i tried

sims-sys=core1 -vcs_build -novera_build

and got the err

cant get license for vcs, although the lm_licence and vcs home are correctly set.

please help me suggesting what else is to be done and where am i making a mistake.

also i want to know how can we run diags independently, i.e. not the entire diaglist for the thread 1 mode?
