HELP!
I have a new computer with Vista Home Edition. Every time I run an application that stitches photos for me now crashes when trying to display with Java! Is there a fix for this Java and Vista issue?
Thanks SO much!

Leona, you're in the wrong place: this forum is (or should be) used for questions about the Java programming language, not about Java software that is installed on your computer.
Good luck.
I believe you need to disable your Microsoft Browser's use of java and install java jre from sun corp such that your Microsoft Browser uses that java rather the one that comes with your browser. I dont know how to do this since I haven't messed with it in a long time. Its something like this:
in your browser, go to tools - internet options - advanced - microsoft vm.
If you look on-line for
"Internet Explorer" browser java
you might find instructions on what to do.
By the way, the reason java is not automatically configured for Microsoft is due to the great Microsoft vs Java wars that occurred years ago. Sometime in 1865 I believe ;)
