I am some how lost

I am new in Java programming. I would like to know which book is better to go through Java? some told me is the complete reference, some said the wrox press, others said it's thinking in Java for Dietel.

Can the professionals help me ?

The Deitel books IMHO aren't all that. I'd suggest "The Java Programming Language" by James Gosling. Pretty darned authoritative

Be wary of any book that claims to be a complete guide to anything. No one book can cover everything and be any good

Thus, do you suggest to study from 2 books in parallel?

Except "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy"! ;-)

Not in parallel, no. You can only digest so much information in one go!
