Trouble loading Java app

I'm a newbie.I'm getting this error in trying to run a program.

Java(TM) Plug-in Fatal Error

Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error.

I have cleared out Java and reloaded 6.0. When I try to run the desired windows app, I get an "Error on Page" message at the lower left.

Please advise how I might proceed. Thanks, Craig in Indiana

Are you creating this program; in other words are you a computer programmer? Or are you a user and just trying to run a java program? If the latter, I'm afraid that you've come to the wrong place. If the former, show your exact error message and your program code.
