How to set time limit for messages in queue?
I am using imsimta qm utility to manage the queue.
I need to know if there is a way to automatically (or a script) that would delete messages in queue based on how old it has been enqueued?
Thanks

Hi,
The "notices" keyword controls when messages are bounced back to the sender after being enqueued for a period of time.
Please note however that there is a bug with Messaging Server 6.3 where the messages are not being returned as per the notices setting - if you have a support contract please log a support case to request a copy of 120228-22 (Solaris Sparc) or 120229-22 (Solaris x86) or 120230-22 (Linux) which has the fix.
If this isn't the case you will need to explain a little bit further what particular messages you need to return and why the notices keyword doesn't provide sufficient functionality. For example how would you differentiate those messages that need to be deleted/bounced e.g. by recipient address/domain, by sender address/domain that sort of thing.
Regards,
Shane.
