Procedure to install add.l Licenses in iPlanet messaging server 5.2

Dear Friends,

Need one urgent help.

The client has 1500 client connection licenses installed in one of the SUN Fire servers. Someone had previously (4 years back) installed the iPlanet messaging server 5.2. And I am quite new to this.

Now the client has procured additional 3500 licenses for the same.

I require the Procedure to install additional Licenses in iPlanet messaging server 5.2 in Solaris 9 Server.

Kindly help in this steps.

Hi,

iPlanet messaging server has no means of keeping track or enforcing numbers of licenses, so I have no idea of what you are referring to and thus no idea on how to install said licenses. Are you sure you aren't running some kind of OEM messaging software that just happens to use messaging server underneath - in which case you need to talk to the supplier of that software?

What version of messaging server are you running? (./imsimta version).
