Java WLM (Windows Live Messenger)
Hello any one want to help make a java version of WLM
I have Pulled the images form WLM and Eddited them So that they look the same just missing some of the Addons Like Sharing Folders I have got a Number of images that sould be all that we need and i can easly make some more for it if they are needed
But what i need i some one that can use java verry well i have most of the MSN Commands form the Jmsn Project on sf.net

Before I join, can I just confirm that you have done all the nitty gritty stuff (ie, copy the images, which I hate doing) and you just need someone to code the application in Java?

I beg to differ they have lots of men/women who work in a little profession called 'Law' as lawyers these people will care if you plagerise the material because they are paid to care ;-)

Doubtfull.... it seems you are simply trying to copy what Live messenger does already? However if you think you can create a product (not necessarily better) which Microsoft will take notice of I will take my hat off to you....

Yep But it Is completely Different To Windows Live Messenger - on it Requires Windows
2 It is a Install Program With Ties into Exsplorer.exe
3 This is Java I Want a Java Compile not an exe's
4. Why would Microsoft Give a Shift about a little Open Src Program That Gets them More Users
And on the Copyright Side of things If Microsoft Say any thing WE Can Just Change it and if it is an Open Src Program They Might let it Slide coz it If not before they take any action they will say Remove the Copyright Material And if it comes to that We can Woot i got to Change some Images The Program will be loading the Images into it - hay at one Stage We might even Have Support for Multiple Theme's where you can pick ur Theme And login to that theme

My god you speile some c.r.a.p even the name WLM means WINDOWS live messenger and I would bet that it is also copyrighted. Bill Gates if not the best coder, was a very shrood business man. He took over the code his friend wrote to become successful! if he can do that what else will his corp do? eh ;-)

WLM is not copyright As WLM If it was W.L.M Mabby As that is an Anacronim So I Need some coders Help Plsand It is differnt from WIndows Live Messenger it has half the featurs missing - E.G the Sharing Folders
And My Spelling is coz i am dyslexic And the Spell Checker on here is **** i know how to Spell Every thing i need to to code in PHP HTML C++ and CSS So it is not that bad

In conclusion you idea is ridiculously outdated and has already been done by numerous other clients and including the very client you have been blatently plagerising. If Microsoft was open source then you would not have a problem in the future but if (god forbid) you did manage to get a product on the market which included anything which could undercut Microsoft you can bet your a$$ that they will sue.
Right What Ever Back to Topic Pls This is a Forum If you want i will build a Debate Via RSS for you But i Want help Building this And if they had sutch a problem with it how the hell dose Ebuddy.com do it then the only differance is that that looks differnt but it is colsed src So i want to make one that is open Src and Make it with Changeable Styles Witch meens that Microsoft sould not have a Problem if theyt do Woot not hard to build a New Style And we can use a file called config.css to control it all like where The Feilds Sart at the Right plce but i just want it to work at the min from that we can add stuff to it

That's true. He does seem to claim to know everything except Java, which he hopes to have someone else do for him for free.
