console application in java for parsing a xml document

I need a console application in java. This application will parse a xml document and as optional parameter the datasource (from a text file) and will send to standard output or to text file(s):

1.which variables are defined in template and not used in template expressions

2.which variables are used in template expressions

3.which variables used in template expressions are not in datasource

4. which variables in datasource are not used in given template.

Any comments?
