DHCP will no longer start

Installed a Solaris 9 recommended patch cluster to a box acting as a DHCP server to a number of sunrays. (The patch cluster was downloaded on 7/16/07). After install and reboot dhcp would no longer start. When the dhcp startup script runs I get a "bus error" and it core dumps. Removed the one new patch that seemed to have anything to do with dhcp and rebooted, still no go. Went back to the old root drive and everything works again.

I am not very familiar with dhcp and I am hoping someone can tell me what I should be looking for.
