Can not find ldap search tool after reinstallation AcM 7.1

After one unsuccessful attempt of installtion, we uninstalled the Access Manager7.1 and its related components( Directory Server EE6 and Web Server 7 etc. alongwith shared components)

Now , I have reinstalled the Access Manager alongwith the above components.

I hv also configured the amsamplesilent file and ran the amconfig file.

But unfortunately this time , the script does not proceed to full install.

It exits asking for ldapsearch tool which somehow does not get installed in this new reinstallation.

Exact message

CLASSPATH is /opt/SUNWam/locale:/etc/opt/SUNWam/config:/opt/SUNWam/lib:/opt/SUNWam/lib/am_se rvices.jar:/usr/share/lib/ldapjdk.jar:/usr/share/lib/mps/secv1/jss4.jar:/opt/SUN Wam/lib/am_sdk.jar

ldapsearch tool not found at /opt/SUNWdsee/dsee6/bin/ldapsearch

Exiting the install script

What is the way to FULLY uninstall these components so that next reinstall is clean and effective?

So far I have used the uninstall script in the /var/sadm/prod/SUNWentsys5 directory.

1.During installation I left almost all defaults unchanged.

2.OS Solaris 9 - sparc

Anybody having solution to this problem?

Thanks

The uninstaller traditionally used to break at a lot of places and leave behind files.

Try this:

1. Uninstall everything that you installed from the suite. (oh, there may be times when the uninstaller won't work. Don't worry, just move to 2.)

2. Open up a terminal, export DISPLAY so that X works at your machine, and launch, as root, prodreg. This is like the product registry for Solaris. Uninstall components. Make sure you go through the entire list and manage to remove everything that the JES installer put in. If uninstalls here are unsuccessful, you can always run the pkg commands.

Even if after uninstalling the installer perceives things as installed, edit the prodregistration.xml file manually.

Reboot, just to feel good. You should be able to cleanly install everything and start from scratch again.

Good luck.
