SAP Password Change

Hi All,

I am trying to change the password for resource SAP through end user interface by using a custom workflow.

I am facing some strange problems like, when I run the workflow through admin interface from run tasks tab, the password is successfully changing but when run the workflow from the end user interface I am getting some JCO exception and the error is

An error occured modifying user xyz on resource SAP com.sap.mm.jco.JCO Exception: JCO_ERROR_FUNCTION_FOUND'

Did anybody encounter a similar problem?

Do I need to change resource configuration?

Please post any ideas.

Hi,

Additional information, I enabled 'User Provides Password on Change' in the resource configuration and added 'WS_USER_PASSWORD' in the resource schema. when I ran the workflow I am getting error as 'Old password must be provided'.

Basically through IdM the user cannot change his own SAP resource password. I tried it through Admin interface and end user interface.

My requirement is user needs to change his own SAP resource password through end user interface?

How to get resolve this issue? any ideas please

I managed to solve the problem.

While checking out the view, the subject equals to Configurator, solves the probelm.
