Viewing the Delegated workItems

Is there a way in IDM so that an approver can view and approve the workItems that the approver has delegated?

Generally, if a delegated admin is added, the actual approver cannot see those workItems. My client wants the actual approver should also be able to approve the requests.

I thought of adding the approver himself as the delegated admin which idm does not support saying that circular delegation or something like that...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you assign the request for approval, you can append the approvers to the list of delegates to be assigned.<append> <ref>delegates_list<ref> <ref>approver_id</ref></append>

That was the first thing I tried. But during the actual delegation, it gives me an error saying that circular delegation found or something like that.

Oh I think this is part of the changes introduced as per IDM 7.Try this - assign the workitem to only the approver - it will automatically go to all his/her delegates.

But still the actuall approver cannot see the workItems, which I'm trying to do...
